The proposed Ballyglass Solar Array will comprise c.595 square metres of solar panels, located approximately 1km to the north-east of Ardnacrusha. The purpose of this website is to inform the local community about this proposed development. This will provide a significant contribution to achieving the country’s renewable energy targets and assist in reducing Ireland’s dependency on fossil fuels. The proposed development will generate direct and indirect local jobs and provide investment in the area through local authority rates / contributions and a community benefit fund will be made available to fund local initiatives as decided by the local community.

This proposal will be developed by Reeve Wave Ltd., an associate company of Enerco Energy Ltd. which is Irish-owned and based in Cork, with extensive experience in the design, construction and operation of Renewable Energy Developments throughout Ireland.
